I don’t know about my readers but in our home the summer heat gets to us all. We welcome light dinners to help combat the heat, popsicles stay stocked in the freezer and a pitcher of sweet tea is always on-hand. It’s just too darn hot to indulge in hot meals, soda pop or the usual preferred desserts. When the heat has you feeling wilted, I’ll always recommend one of the above mentioned treats. Especially given the fact that I was recently asked to share my thoughts on the Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher Blender. Grey and Black go with everything, a fact that was proven after the Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher was unpacked and settled in on my kitchen counter. The color scheme goes with everything, and its design is modern without looking out of place. Looks aside, the Wave Crusher literally crushes its 3-in-1 use capacity. Whether you’re looking to make single serve batches, please a crowd or get dinner sliced & diced up in a jiffy, this is one blender you might want to put on your wish list.

 

We’ve put it through its paces lately, and thanks to its 700 watt motor, it hasn’t disappointed yet. We’ve chopped, diced, sliced, crushed, grated and much more, with no end in sight. Even as a working mom on the go, using the included 20oz BPA free travel jar with leak-proof lid has made taking smoothies on the go easier than ever. I just love how easy it is to pour from the blender directly into the cup with no muss or fuss!

 

Light dinners such as salads have been so much easier to pull off too, thanks to the food processor function of the Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher. Instead of spending an hour just on prep time alone for the veggies, I can utilize the 3 cup bowl, chopping s-blade and shredding/slicing disc duo.

This blender isn’t just a cinch to use, either. It’s also a cinch to clean, something that has always been a challenge in blender design for me personally. The pour spout makes virtually no mess, while the blades come apart from the blender easily and the jar, lids, and bowl are dishwasher safe. Score one for this exhausted mama who hates kitchen cleanup after a long day at work, shuttling kids to and from, and having to cook well-balanced meals every night!
