HomeZada-Own a home, sell a home, buy another!

*This is a sponsored post. All my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources.*

Selling homesWe were beyond thrilled when we purchased our dream home. It felt like we had reached a real milestone in our lives and we proceeded it to fill it with children and love over the years we have lived here. One of the first things we learned about the joys of home ownership however, was how much work it is! There is always something that needs to be done for proper maintenance, and it turns out it is a ton to keep track of. If you miss something, we have learned the hard way, it can have expensive consequences. That is why when we discovered HomeZada we were thrilled. My husband and I both have so much to keep track of in our busy lives as working parents that it has been a huge help to keep us on track with keeping our home in great shape.

Home inventory, maintenance and improvements projects and all the finances associated home ownership. It was a disaster when we forgot to blow out our backyard sprinkler system before the winter only to have burst pipes and need an entire system overhaul. That is the exact type of thing that HomeZada can help homeowners avoid! Now we keep a maintenance schedule through HomeZada and get reminders to make sure we never miss an important opportunity to keep our home running smoothly. It also helps us to schedule the home improvements that we need done…like say our sprinkler system overhaul in the spring…so we can track and save all our home improvement research, documents, photos, and budgeting. The other feature that I really like is that we can keep an inventory of each room with photos and receipts in case of any losses from disaster like flood, fire or theft. It feels good to know that we have everything we need to keep track of our home in one safe location that is easy to access from anywhere.

Our home is our largest investment and certainly our largest asset, so we really want, and need, to be smart homeowners. I love how HomeZada helps me keep track of the little things as well as the big ones, because it is easy to forget all that goes into owning a home. I have to admit I also appreciate our HomeZada account reminding us of the “honey do” list as opposed to my husband, and I’m sure he feels the same way. It makes it feel more like a joint effort when we both have access to all that needs to be done, and we both get reminders when the time comes for some sort of necessary maintenance. We love our home, and all of the work that we have put into it over the years, and are grateful to now have Home Zada in place to keep us on track with our dream home.

It’s so neat that HomeZada can help protect your investment as well as help new buyers ease into their own home ownership. I’ll have to refer this to my gf, she is moving int hr first home this Spring!

It’s so nice to have an online system for keeping this information in one place. To start from the moment you move into a house would make it so much easier than to try and start after having been in the house for a number of years. What a great program!

I’m not a homeowner myself but I hope to be one day soon and this program sounds like it would help SO much in keeping things straight! And believe you me, I definitely need that kind of help. LOL

We are planning on buying our first home in the next few years, and I am a little nervous about all the unknowns when it comes to home maintenance. A program like this would be excellent for me.
