Thank Goodness for the New Healthgrades App!

*I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Healthgrades. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.*

I will fully admit that I completely forgot about Hayley’s doctor appointment last week. I got that embarrassing call that I missed my appointment and needed to reschedule. I am always looking for the best ways to keep track of my doctor appointments and I think I finally found it with the new Healthgrades App, which is now available on iTunes!Screen Shot 2013-10-16 at 9.49.06 PM

The Healthgrades App has so many wonderful features including being able to get doctor recommendations from friends and trusted community groups, that is fully integrated with Healthgrades leading provider data. When I first moved to my area, I knew no one! I could not rely on my neighborhood to give me the best information.  However, with Healthgrades, I was able to find the best doctors and dentists for me. Now Healthgrades, the leading online resource for information on physicians and hospitals, developed an iOS app to make this challenge easier! Healthgrades has taken all of the great information and made it available on their wonderful app!Screen Shot 2013-10-16 at 9.38.57 PM

With the Healthgrades App, you are also able to search for doctors based on insurance,  location, gender, hospital affiliation and more. You are readily able to set appointment reminders and store important physician information for all your family members. I no longer have to get that embarrasing phone call because I could readily set reminders of my appointment dates, as well! Screen Shot 2013-10-16 at 9.38.52 PM

I also love the fact that  I can get access to over a million consumers’ reviews from patients. It makes me confident choosing a healthcare professional for my entire family! This is all thanks to the Healthgrades App!  Be sure to download the Healthgrades app to use for your family today!

This is a great app especially for those that move often or are in the military. Thanks for sharing.

Used the app to find a pediatrician for my daughter a few weeks ago and it was spot on – LONG wait time! Seriously we waited for over 2 hours before we finally just left. I should have just listened to the app! LOL

    I have a Haley! 🙂

I am always forgetting about my kids appts. Thank goodness that their doctors usually remember to call me a few days before and then I write it down on a calendar. I need a new phone! LOL. Something that can keep up better with all this new technology!

Ooh! Cool! We will most likely be moving to a different state in the next 8 months, so this will come in very handy!

This is such a cool app. We have moved around a lot, and it is always hard to figure out which doctors to go to. I also like to rate doctors I like (or don’t) to help other people out.

I actually used this to look at the ratings of a new dr. I was referred to. She got the highest rating.
