Sesame Place Review and 4 Ticket Giveaway!

48702e6f40424fb2889241e29b0d8b27_splogo_4This summer has been really exciting because we were able to visit Sesame Place quite a few times. If you have never been to Sesame Place, you are truly missing out. Not only is it fun for the kids, but it is equally as fun for the adults. We like to do our family vacations here and Sesame Place never disappointed us! Do not worry though, because although Sesame Place is closed during the week now, it is OPEN EVERY WEEKEND until December 31st!

DSC_0019Right now, they have tons of Halloween fun going on! If you have not been during Halloween time, you do not want to miss the festivities they put on. Their daily parade features the characters as you never seen before in the Neighborhood Halloween Street Parade. Having seen this parade many times on our visits, I can tell you one hint and that is to get there early! I usually say an hour early if you want a good seat. What we do is grab lunch to go and eat it waiting for the parade. By the time we are done eating, we are front row for the parade to start! Other fun fall attractions include ABBY CADABBY’S MAGICAL HALLOWEEN MAZE, NOT SO-SPOOKY HAYRIDE, RUBBIE DUCKY DANCE PARTY, THE COUNT’S UNHAUNTED CASTLE MAZE.

DSC_0025When we visited last month, we went probably during the busiest of weekends, Labor Day. However, I can tell you that we had so much fun despite some of the lines we had. These lines were no where near as long as other attraction places I have visited. The most I waited was about 20 minutes and the kids did not mind at all, since the rides are so much fun! Their favorite new part of Sesame Place is the brand new Cookie Monster Land opening! The kids and I absolutely love the flying cookie jars! They can go on and on that ride over and over! Of course, we still went on all the other rides during our time in the park.DSC_0032

That day was very hot so we enjoyed the amazing water rides at Sesame. These are currently closed for the fall but don’t worry as they will reopen in May! If you visit Sesame now though, I can assure you that there is still so much fun to be had by all! Believe me they will have tons of rides and shows to attend, that you will not even be missing the water rides. Don’t forget to check out the Vapor Trail, as this is Sesame Place exclusive roller coaster.DSC_0033

Visiting Sesame Place is not complete without attending the daily shows which are now changed for the fall season and include Elmo the Musical- Halloween, Who Said Boo?!, The Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show, and the infamous Halloween Neighborhood Parade. When you are finished the shows and the rides, be sure to do Dining with the Characters which is open for lunch/dinner. Your kids can get up close and personal with their Sesame Place favorites.

Starting soon Sesame Place will present a Very Furry Christmas so do not wait! If you are looking for a great weekend trip, definitely check out Sesame Place. Hurry though as Sesame Place is closing for the season on Dec 31st!

    Both of my boys love Sesame Street and I know we would all have a blast! My older son loves Elmo, and my younger son loves both Elmo and Ernie!

    My son loves Sesame Place!!!!!! His favorite ride is the roller coaster. He could ride it all day.

    My kids favorite character is cookie monster. I would love to take him there but I didn’t see in your review where it’s located. I hope if I win it’s not to far from Vermont so we can go.
