It is Party Time with Disney Junior Sofia the First!

My baby girl is going to be 6 in a few short weeks! I truly can’t believe it because I feel like she was literally just born! She is an amazing girl who deserves the best in whatever she decides to do in life. With a new baby that arrived a few weeks ago, some attention has been taken off of Hayley since I have been so busy attending to her sister. While I do feel a bit guilty about this, I want to compensate by throwing her a few birthday parties for family and friends that will be exciting and fun for her. I want her to feel extra special on her birthday! One way I am going to do this is by throwing her a Disney Junior Sofia the First birthday. Ever since Disney Junior debuted this amazing show, Hayley and Zane have been glued to the TV. If you ask either of them what is their favorite show on TV, both of them will scream out Sofia the First!

This year Hayley has a lot of friends who are going to be invited to her birthday party. I am still not sure if I am going to have two birthday parities for separate friends because she has so many different group of friends including school, dance, gymnastics, and swim. Let’s not forget about family too! However, I am certain that one of these parties she is going to want Sofia the First included because she really likes Sofia! O’kay truth be told- she is TOTALLY OBSESSED!

I decided to get into the Sofia the First mindset to prepare for her birthday party, I was going to head to my local Walmart to pick up all things Sofia! I had to go solo on this trip because if I brought Hayley with me, we would end up buying the complete Disney Junior line! My first stop was the toy department. Every little girl needs Sofia the First toys and Walmart  had such a good selection of toys. I added a few to my cart and then headed to the paper goods and party supplies department. I found exactly what I was looking for in the party aisle and completed my shopping cart with Sofia the First napkins, plates, cups, banner, goody bags, and more!

Once I headed home, I decided it would be fun to give Hayley her Sofia the First presents a bit early. After all, she has been an amazing big sister to Taylor these past couple of weeks. So one day before school, I allowed her to open her Sofia the First toy presents and she was bouncing off the walls excited! I knew she would be!

After that, I showed her all the amazing Sofia the First party supplies that I got for her.  It was so easy to round up all these supplies at Walmart since they make party planning fun and seamless.

Right away, she wanted to get started on her Sofia the First invitations. Since she is writing now, I let her take the lead and fill in the information for all her friends.

Once she was done, she had an idea that I thought was simply amazing and so sweet to boot. She wanted to make goody bags with the Sofia the First amulet necklaces I bought but then add in the Sofia the First figurines I got her for HER gift. Hayley wanted to take her gift and use it for her friends goody bags. What a good heart that one has! She spent about a half hour getting her Sofia the First goody bags ready for her special day.

We are all ready now for her Sofia the First birthday party! I know this amazing, little girl is going to love it! I am so grateful to Walmart for having all the Sofia the First party supplies and toys all in one store! I don’t have the time to keep running to different stores as I am sure most of you can agree with.
