    I LOVE the setting the table the day before tip. I am pretty good about the kitchen prep ( to the point of measuring and labeling all ingredients so they can just be grabbed and added as cooking) I don’t know why the table never occurred to me.

    The texting idea is also genius as I am 99.9% of the time NOT without my phone.

    My favorite tip is making a list and setting table the day before. Making a list even for the holiday dinner helps me get all the groceries in one trip and helps organize the dinner to make sure everything is on time and hot.

    I like a lot of the tips, but my favorite is probably the one suggesting you use Christmas ornaments as a centerpiece for the table. That is a lovely idea.

    I like her tip to do the decorating and setting the table the day before so you have less stress. I like to cook the entire meal thoughout the week before a holiday…that way I can get all the dishes/mess cleared up way ahead of the big day.

    I like the tip about making a list of everyone you have to buy gifts for. It’s the best way to keep track of what you’ve already bought and what you still need to get. It especially helps if you start buying earlier in the year (you might even note where you’ve stored it so it doesn’t go missing)
