Bear Creek Country Kitchens – Delicious Dinner Every Time

I’m a super busy mommy blogger. I have three kids, a husband, a day job, AND my blog. That means that time is at a premium for me, and although I’d love to spend hours in the kitchen making a gourmet meal for my family, I can’t. That’s why I was excited to review a Winter care package from Bear Creek Country Kitchens. Let me tell you, it was delicious.

Easy and Delicious with Bear Creek Country Kitchens

As I said, I received a Winter care package from Bear Creek Country Kitchens, and I thought to myself, “What’s a fun way to try out all of this?” Then it came to me. Side Dish Party! Seriously, who doesn’t love to overdose on carbs every so often? So we busted out the sides I got and began our carb fest with all the delicious-looking items we got in our care package. Boy, was that the right decision.

Our package had delicious Chicken Noodle Soup Mix and Cheddar Broccoli Soup Mix, along with Creamy Chicken Pasta. All of them were super easy to make, because all I had to do was add water. Obviously, the kids were the most excited for Creamy Chicken Pasta, but my husband and I were a little more interested in the Cheddar Broccoli Soup. From start to finish, including getting out the pots and dishes, prep and cooking time took just under an hour. And that was only because we made so many sides. 😉 That’s not too shabby for something that wasn’t microwaved.

The thing I really loved about the rice, pastas, and other sides (alter the bolded portion if you didn’t receive all of those) from Bear Creek Country Kitchens  is that it didn’t taste like it came from a box. So many of the side dishes you get at the store have that store taste. You know the taste – that overly salted, oddly seasoned, processed flavor. If you’ve ever made a side from a box, you know what I’m talking about. The sides from Bear Creek didn’t have that. They actually tasted home made. Their food focuses on actual flavor rather than a ridiculous amount of salt and weird spices that no one every really uses in their food.

Overall, we really loved it. In fact, between prep time, ease of cooking, and flavor, I can’t think of anything negative to say about their products. It was all pros for us and no cons. The biggest pro for me is the time saving factor. I’ll be honest, I have sacrificed quality and flavor in the past just to get SOMETHING on the table, but with Bear Creek Country Kitchens, I don’t have to. I finally have something delicious that I can pair with a nice piece of chicken, beef, or fish. For my non-Jewish readers, I’m sure it would be delicious with pork as well!
