When I was asked to cover the opening of the Aldi Store in Middletown, Rhode Island, I was more than happy to oblige. I have been an Aldi fan for quite some time now and shop there frequently. They have some of the best prices I have seen on foods, toiletries, and more. Now, they have opened another location in Middletown, Rhode Island, which is approximately 10 minutes from Newport.
When I got to the event at 8:30 AM, I already saw people lined up. In fact, there was a line until the next store in the shopping center. They did a brief ribbon cutting ceremony and then people were free to go shop at ALDI for the grand opening! They had fun contents, shopping bags that were given out for this occasion, and food stations set up. I could tell that this store will be very prosperous in Middletown!
