Neosporin Essentials for a skincare solution for Eczema

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NEOSPORIN® ESSENTIALS™ for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you know eczema is a chronic problem for a large population of people-over 35 million people are effected with 1-3 % being adults, and 10-20% being of the child population. Seventy percent of people start with children under the age of 5 and it is proven that 60% of infants, will have some sort of problem with eczema in adulthood.

Eczema is a chronic inflammatory skin condition characterized by dry and itchy skin, as well as, skin irritations. In healthy people, the outer layer of your skin serves as a protective barrier, but with people with eczema, the skin has a deficiency in the outer layer, that allows moisture to escape and cause skin irritations.

As most of you know, Zane has very bad eczema. We go to the clinic up in Boston to try to control his eczema, with various therapies.  Exczema is a series of skin flare-ups where the skin gets so dry, that the only solution is to itch your skin, which causes skin irritations. His eczema sometimes causes him to itch all night which leaves open wound cuts on his body, which then leads to bacterial infections. It is a fighting battle with his eczema and although we do have it under control with a wide array of medicines, sometimes there are days, when it is extrememly hard.

Have you ever experience eczema before? This time of year, a lot of eczema flare ups can occur wtih the switch from warmer to colder weather. Forced hot air inside can cause eczema flare ups along wtih the lack of sunlight, which inevitably leads to the lack of Vitamin D. This leads to eczema conditions then worsening.

Recently I found out about Neosporin Essentials to help with eczema. Neosporin is the #1 over the counter topical antibiotic ointment. They have a line of Neosporin Essentials for people suffering with eczema including Daily Moisturizing Cream, Daily Body Wash, and Anti Itch Cream. Each product has a blend of RELIPID  formula, to help retain moisture that is essential for healthy looking skin.

The Eczema Essentials Daily Moisturing Cream is  clinically shown to restore visibly healthier skin in just 3 days and is shown to be as effective as the leading prescription skin barrier emulsion in people with mild to moderate eczema with twice daily (or as-needed) use. It has also received the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association.

The Moisture Essentials Daily Body Wash is gentle and non-irritating on all skin types. It contains gentle moisturizer for daily wash. As all of their products are, it is fragrance and soap-free, which will not cause any flaky skin. It does not contain antibiotics and is great for the whole family to use.

The Eczema Essentials Hydrocortisone cream contains a dual action formula to provide fast relief of flare ups due to eczema while moisturizing skin. It is clinically proven to improve dryness all around.

The winter, be sure to check out NEOSPORIN® ESSENTIALS™ for all your eczema nees.
