We are in the process of searching for a new computer so receiving the 8 GB Data Traveler 109 with added urDrive software could not have come at a more appropriate time. My old computer has tons of files on it including all my documents and picture files that I wanted to transfer over. When I took the flash drive out of the box, I could not believe how compact it was. It has a nice hole at the end that you can add a ribbon too or key chain so you never lose the drive. When I went to test out the data transfer on my husband’s computer, it was amazing! Not only does it transfer all your files accurately but it helps you organize your files, photos, videos, and music. It also offers a free bonus online back-up storage which is extremely useful in case of the dreaded unlikelihood of losing the drive.
Video of the drive is posted above. Some of the features of this drive include:
a. Automatically scan your PC- Scan and improve the performance of your computer with Norton PC checkup
b. Browse the Internet from any PC- With the urDrive built in browser, you can take favorite and bookmarks with you. Browse the Internet with urDrive from any public or private PC
c. Access online storage- Securely backup, access. and share your files using urDrive. Not only can you store your files on urDrive, but your USB device gives you access to a world of online storage.
My personal favorites, however, was the FoozKids built in application. When I installed the drive, I opened up this and found a plethora of games/videos for Hayley. It has every imaginable educational tool for your kids. Hayley played the Smurf games, watched the Smurf videos, played Blue’s Clues matching game, watched the Dora videos all night tonight. It can literally keep a kid busy for hours. I can’t rave enough about this feature. I know it is a trial basis for the urDrive but we will definitely pay the small price per month to continue her using this drive once the initial trial runs out. Hours of fun for a 3 year old = Happy Mommy! For those with older kids, it also allows the kids to discover the Internet in a safe manner since the computer has a locking feature only to be opened by moms. With the drive you also have access to social and multiplayer games to play.
I know there are many drives that you can buy on the market but this Kingston 8Gb Data Traveler 109 with urDrive software is in a class of its own. You can buy the drive at amazon.com, bestbuy.com, target.com, and tigerdirect.com to name a few. I was lucky enough to give away a 5 pack of Kingston urDrives (retail value: $50) to one lucky reader. It would make great Christmas stocking stuffers. Simply comment what features you like about the drive or what you would use it for. Please remember include your address. Thanks so much for this giveaway! With the multitude of computers in my house, a flash drive is essential for transferring data. Also, as a college student, it is a huge help to have a flash drive to transport information back and forth from school to home.

We would back up our pictures. We need to back them up for sure!
I would back up our pictures and videos 🙂
Totally picture and video backup. I have the majority backed up on my laptop, but since I take such high-res photos, I'm quickly losing hard drive space. This would be my perfect solution!!

These look cool… I got a nasty Trojan virus that wiped out my computer in June and taught me a valuable lesson about not backing up files and especially the kids photos…. 🙁 7 years of baby pictures were on my computer. These can be lifesavers!
