Why I LOVE the Philips Wakeup Light- An Energetic Way to Wake Up in The Morning!

I’m notoriously hard to wake up in the mornings. It seems like over the years I’ve tried everything in an effort to make getting up with my morning alarm easier. As it turns out, I was pleasantly surprised. The Wake Up Light was created and designed to mimic the natural progression of the sunrise. It utilizes a unique combination of light therapy and sound to wake the user in a way that is both natural and gentle, unlike the jarring and abrupt blare of alarms. The Wake Up Light mimics the suns natural light, gradually increasing in a soft progression of soft morning red through orange, gradually filling your bedroom with a bright, sunshiney glow. This process stimulates your body to wake up naturally and without the fuss, frustration and intrusion you’re used to from your phone or alarm system.

One of the features I love about the Wake Up Light is that it comes with a setting that allows you to attach music to your morning wake up routine. It comes with a list of 5 different sounds to choose from, and gradually increases in volume to your selected noise level. This process works over the course of an minute and a half, waking you slowly and gently. The included sounds are: Bird Song, Birds in the Forest, Zen Garden, Gentle Piano and Seaside sounds. Of course, if you don’t like any of those, you can also set your alarm to wake you up to your favorite radio station too, thanks to its FM radio feature.
