Graco AFFIX Youth Booster Seat w/Latch System Review + Giveaway!

We have been using Graco for their fantastic car seats for many years now with great successes. We recently received the Graco Baby AFFIX Youth  Booster Seat with Latch System for review. We switched Zane over from his traditional convertible car seat to this youth booster seat when he reached the correct weight. Using this booster seat, has made our life easier since it is less bulky, yet just as safe as his prior convertible seat.

The Graco AFFIX Youth Booster Seat is ideal to transition your child to “Big Boy or Big Girl” status. This seat safely transports kids from 30 to 100 pounds and up to 57 inches tall. Once we received it, we quickly put it into our car. Set up was very seamless. This booster seat features a one hand latch system that secures the booster seat to the vehicle seat and keeps the booster steady in the car for easy buckling. As a mom of a young child, I love the ease that comes with using this seat, especially when your boy does not like to sit still, to get him in long enough to the car. Now, I have no issues buckling him with ease and know he is safe in the booster. Once he gets a bit older, he can easily buckle himself into this booster for added independence.

unnamedBesides having the unique front adjustment that allows us to quickly and easily tighten the booster to the vehicle, there are many other features that are great about this booster seat. I am able to use this booster with the highback support and then when they are older, I can make this booster backless. It is recommended to be a highjack booster for kids 3-10 from 30-100 pounds and 38 to 57 inches tall. The backless booster can be used for children 4-10 that are 40-100 pounds and 40 to 57 inches tall.  Once your kids are ready for a backless booster, this easily converts.Booster Seat for kids

The AFFIX Booster Seat features adjustable head support to allow your kids comfort as they grow. The material the booster is made of is EPS or energy absorbing foam. It also features an integrated cup holder and hide-away storage compartment. I love having a cup holder with the seat so I can fill up a water bottle and leave it there, without having to hear my kids constantly ask me to stop because they are thirsty. It makes life as a mom much easier.

If the booster seat gets dirty do not fear. It features a machine washable seat pad that you can readily put in the washing machine. This is a huge feature because some car seats don’t have a cover. Kids unfortunately get sick or get their seats dirty but with the removable cover, you do not have to worry.

    We had one of those HUGE old Graco strollers. I got it second hand. Darn thing lasted 5 years more (it was pretty beat up to begin with) Finally my son was playing and broke the seat. It was the best stroller ever!

    The pack and play is something we have to have! We have 7 soon to be 9 grandkids all under 7yrs old. The only place I have for them to nap is the pack and play. I REALLY want a Graco pack and play but found this one at a garage sale and it’s worn out. One side won’t stay up anymore and we don’t feel safe putting babies in it. It’s not a Graco. Go figure ! Graco’s quality is much better than this one!!
