iBaby Baby Monitors Review for Best Buy!

I horde baby monitors! Truly, that word would describe me to a tee as I presently own 3 different monitors. Actually, 4, but who is counting! However, I am pretty sure I have found one of the  best baby monitors on the market- the iBaby monitor. Since I have mostly all Apple products including the iPad, iPhone, and iTouch- getting this monitor is a no brainer as it is fully compatible with these devices. Even if you don’t have these products, it is PC compatible.

The iHealth iBaby monitor allows you to watch your sleeping baby in the comfort of your own home from your iPad, iPhone, or iTouch. Not only does it allow you to watch your baby from your phone and such, but another family member can also watch the baby through their own iPhone, iPad, or iTouch at the same time. It actually allows you to support up to 4 devices and 4 users simultaneously. It really is an awesome feature to be able to see baby Zane through my phone upstairs and for my husband to use his phone and see him downstairs. All the devices go through the one main camera hooked up where you would like it, to see your baby.
The way it works is you swipe the screen on your iPhone, iPad, iTouch and the camera will follow whatever lead you take.  It allows you to follow your little one with an up/down, left/right swipe of your fingers. If you are thinking how this could possibly work, let me assure you- it does! Before we set it up in Zane’s room, my husband and I tested it out on each other. I had my iPhone and had my husband sit in the room with the monitor. When I turned on my iPhone, I was able to track basically everything my husband was doing in the room.  When I came closer to see how it worked, I ended up seeing the camera move in all different directions when I was using my fingers to swipe the phone. Truly incredible!
You might be asking how it works and the answer is easy: Wi-Fi. If you have a iPhone or other Apple products, you probably have Wi-Fi so there is no extra step in getting your monitor to work. When you receive the iBaby monitor, you will receive the monitor, AC adapter, ethernet cable, Wi-Fi antenna, camera mounting kit, PC installation CD, and an owner’s manual. Some of the great product features besides the obvious feature of seeing your baby are IR night vision, which ensures clear pictures even in low light, and  motion or sound alerts, which will activate the monitor when the baby movement/crying is detected.  There is two-way audio which we use to calm Zane down at night. He loves hearing mommy’s voice to calm him down and I can do all of this via the monitor. Lastly, you can snap pictures and send to your family with this monitor.
We have been using this monitor for a couple of weeks now and I have to say, I am in love with it! I keep my iPhone plugged in at night and if he wakes up, I simply turn to my phone to see what is going on. The video and audio quality is  terrific. This monitor gets 5 stars from me!  I highly suggest you check out the iBaby monitor available at Bestbuy for $199.99. It is worth every penny.
*Thank you to Best Buy for supplying me the iBaby monitor for reviewing purposes. All my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources.

This monitor is definitely one I would want if we are blessed with a healthy pregnancy. Nothing beats being able to quickly check in on your baby without attempting to tip toe in and then accidentally waking them.
