For me, the holiday seasoning is exciting but confusing, all at the same time. I say confusing because we celebrate both Chanukah and Christmas! So, we have our big Christmas tree with handcrafted ornaments, with the family stockings next to it, and then immediately above is our menorah. You can say it is very festive in our household!
For the holiday season, we take out our Christmas and Chanukah plates and display them throughout the household. We also buy Hayley and Zane Chanukah and Christmas books to go along with each holiday. Our most favorite day though throughout the holiday season, is the day we put up our big tree. Both kids are old enough now where they can help put their favorite ornaments on, all while we drink delicious hot chocolate. It has become a great family tradition in our household!
