If you have never been to a renaissance festival, you truly do not want to miss out on going to King Richard’s Faire! This faire ends on October 19th so be sure to get thy ticket today!
Unfortunately when I got the tickets I ended up getting sick so I gave them to a friend who sent me all her beautiful photos from the faire. She said it was beyond awesome and she had a really fun time dressing up. She said it was a full day of fun as she went from start to end time. And she said you must not forget about thy turkey leg!
King’s Richard Faire is in a great location in New England about 50 minutes from Providence and same distance from Boston. At the faire they have 18 glorious and exciting games in the Gaming Den that included The Axe Throw, Knife Throw, Throwing Stars, Knight Errant, and Giant Stryker. They also have fun games that include The Archer’s Field, Dastardly Darts, Crusader’s Crossbows, Jacob’s Ladder, King of the Log, and Dragon’s Joust. For the little kids they have hide and seek in the maze, ride the flying Gryffin, and the pirate ships. Also don’t forget about thy pony rides.
Every weekend they have a full entertainment schedule so before you go check out what can be found on that day. It rotates throughout all the weekends so best to check it out and make sure you go to the entertainment you want to see. It can be a very busy day so best to plan it out. When you enter the faire, they also give you a paper of all the events so you can schedule what you want to see this way too. Our absolute favorite is watching the Joust of Death at the Tournament Field. It has very good participation in this and it is a fan favorite from the previous years we went. My friends also loved this. This next weekend is the Wicked Big Finale with costume contests and trick or treating.

There is plentiful amounts of food at the faire for just about every taste bud but as I said before do not forget thy turkey legs! The cinnamon rolls is another fan favorite. You can buy the tickets for food and games and drinks at the kiosks all throughout the faire.
