Last night I had the opportunity to attend Mj, The Musical 1st National Tour. All I can say is WOW! The dancing, singing, and acting was SUPERB! The crowd absolutely loved it so much and now through January 26, you can see MJ Broadway Tour at the Providence Performing Arts Center. Trust me when I tell you, you do not want to miss this!
Jordan Markus plays an absolutely excellent MJ in the title role on the National Tour of the four-time Tony Award-winning musical. Michael Jackson was one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Now Michael Jackson’s unique and unparalleled artistry comes to Providence. Created by Tony Award winning Director/Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, MJ goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Michael Jackson into legendary status.
WHEN IS MJ RUNNING:
MJ runs at the PPAC from Tuesday January 21 and will run through Sunday January 26th at 6:30 PM. The run time for MJ is two hours and 40 minutes with a 20 minute intermission. Act 1 runs one hour and 12 minutes and Act 2 runs one hour and 8 minutes. Strobing, theatrical haze and fog will be used throughout the show.
