The First Omen Available Now To Watch All Over!

The First Omen was one movie I recently saw in the movie theater and LOVED it. I am a horror fan and this film definitely was one of the best horror films I have seen in 2024. Now this film is streaming and will be available on DVD to watch end of July!

Film Synopsis

In this psychological horror prequel to the classic Omen films, a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church. Soon, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her faith, and that reveals a terrifying conspiracy to bring about the birth of evil incarnate. The First Omen stars Nell Tiger Free (Servant), Tawfeek Barhom (Mary Magdalene), Sonia Braga (Kiss of the Spider Woman), Ralph Ineson (The Northman) and Bill Nighy (Living). The film is directed by Arkasha Stevenson based on characters created by David Seltzer (The Omen), with a story by Ben Jacoby (Bleed) and a screenplay by Tim Smith & Arkasha Stevenson and Keith Thomas (Firestarter).

Rating

U.S. Rated R

*Rated R for violent content, grisly/disturbing images, and brief graphic nudity

The cinematography was absolutely breathtaking in this movie.  This is a movie that doesn’t rely on the annoying jumpscares but rather creates a sense of horror from beginning to end. The story line was terrific and the viewer really  had no idea where this movie was going till the mid second half. The guessing in this movie had me anticipating what will happen, which is something I love in my movies. This prequel leans in on true horror and creating it’s own movie, while maintaining what made the original movie so good. It is creepy and weird, but this fan is all in for it!

The First Omen is available from all major digital retailers including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu , on Hulu,  and on Blu-ray and on  DVD  July 30. Fans can add the film to their collection and access exclusive bonus content including behind-the-scenes featurettes.
