The ultimate show in fun, singing, and dancing, SIX, is now touring with its stop the next two weeks in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center. It is running from April 11-23 and is part of the Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series.
The Boleyn Tour cast features Gerianne Perez as Catherine of Arago, Zan Berube as Anne Boleyn, Amina Faye as Jane Seymour, Terica Marie as Anna of Cleves, Aline Mayagoitia as Katherine Howard, and Sydney Parr as Catherine Parr. The cast also includes Aryn Bohannon, Jane Larell Glover, Taylor Pearlstein, and Cecilia Snow. From Tutor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st Century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over!
SIX has won 23 awards in the 2021/2022 Broadway season including the Tony Award for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. This show is simply amazing and as the New York Times says, “TOTALLY RULES!”
I saw SIX last night for the second time and this show is just plain FUN! It is about 80 minutes straight so be sure to use the bathroom before so you do not miss any parts of the show. I knew just about every word of every song and these QUEENS nailed it! This is a show that will brighten your day and your spirits. The music is catchy and so dynamic. The acting in these six is simply superb from start to finish. The voices were impeccable!
