Motherhood is one of those things that is so exciting. Even before you become a mother, you have this overwhelming feeling of love. Mothers would do anything for their children. To make sure they are safely set up for a good life, it is very important to get term life insurance on hand so you can feel secure in your family and when that new baby comes long.
Another thing you can do is get prenatal genetic tests. There are many benefits to having a test like this done. Many providers will even cover the genetic tests but there are some that will not. This is something that I feel strongly should be changed. Every mother deserves a stress free pregnancy.
When mothers have a way to find something out about their child that can impact their lives, it makes them that much more aware of what to do for their child. Prenatal genetic testing is one of those things that better prepare us for when our child is born. Providers like UHC and Aetna are not covering the costs of these tests. Instead, they are having mothers rely on testing that is outdated and most likely inaccurate. This does not lead a way to a stress free pregnancy.
All mothers should have the chance to have access to prenatal genetic testing. This is not the case as more and more younger mothers under the age of 35 are being denied prenatal genetic testing. The older tests that they are having to use lead to inaccurate results more often then not. The emotional toll that this has if the results are wrong can be devastating. Aetna and United HealthCare are two of the insurance companies that are denying these prenatal genetic tests to younger mothers.
Cisco and Google are leading the way when it comes to getting prenatal genetic testing available for these younger mothers. This is helping to have more accurate detection to be more prepared for the motherhood that lies ahead of them. Being the most prepared that you can be as a mother means that you will give the best quality of life to your child. They are recognizing this.
