A Great Iced Coffee Recipe!!!

With the warmer months here I just can’t stop thinking about refreshing treats and cold drinks. And in all honesty, I’m pretty sure we can all agree there’s nothing better to quench the thirst and cool us down than a huge iced coffee.

I was a fan of buying it all the time but when I discovered how easy and fast is to make a delicious iced coffee at home I was sold! Seriously it’s so so easy it makes me wonder why it took me so long to discover it!

And can we please talk about all the possibilities? Seriously consider this the base of your spring and summer, because really the things you can do with it are endless! Iced lattes, mochaccinos, frozen coffee (just place your coffee in a blender with a ton of ice) and all the flavors you can add it: French vanilla, caramel.

Gosh just making that list made me crave a frozen caramel mochaccino and guess what? I can totally make it at home and in around 5 minutes, I have a delicious cup of Iced Coffee.

To do it I just use ground coffee and place it in a french press. The truth is you can make this recipe with any coffee maker you have, but in my experience, the result is a million times better with a french press. Then I add hot water. To make barista quality coffee at home the water should be hot but not boiling. I just heat it in the microwave for 1 minute.

Then let your coffee sit for 3 minutes press it down. And then comes the most important part. Fill a tall glass with as much ice as you can and pour the coffee. If  you put little ice it will end up melting too fast and your coffee will be a watery mess, so ice it girl!

And that’s it. Go out and conquer the world with your homemade iced coffee.
