Last year I had the pleasure to meet Roald Dahl’s daughter at The BFG event. She told us one her father’s favorite books he written was Matilda. Now you can see Matilda at the Providence Performing Arts Center from May 17-21st! This a great family show for all!

The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is pleased to announce that Family Night at MATILDA THE MUSICAL will take place on Wednesday, May 17 at 7P. With the purchase of one regularly-priced ticket, guests can receive one complimentary ticket of equal value for a child aged 18 or younger. MATILDA THE MUSICAL makes its Providence debut at PPAC Wednesday, May 17 through Sunday, May 21. The press opening night is Thursday, May 18 at 7:30P. MATILDA THE MUSICAL is part of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series.
Regularly-priced tickets are $88 – $21; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice. My girls and I have loved Matilda since they were little. It started with the movie then the audiobook then they each finally read it on their own. Now we enjoy the movie all the time together. They would would be over the moon to see it!

I want to take my daughter because it was the first Roald Dahl book that she read, which led her to read others. Grandma even bought the movie and watched it over and over with her. Matilda has remained her favorite, and she would love to see the musical.
