We just received the coolest item from from The First Years to try out and we really love it! It’s called the Mickey Mouse Helping Hands Feeding & Activity tray and boy is this a great tray for our little one! It’s hard enough to get him to eat and sit and to be entertained while eating has been a lifesaver for us at mealtimes. He loves to play Mickey Mouse’s helping hand (and mommy loves it to as a great distraction while she prepares his meal). I can see already that’s it’s helping with his eye/hand coordination and helping to work with his motor skill development which is wonderful!
What’s also great about this play and feeding tray is that’s it’s completely adjustable. This tray can be put in multiple positions, and its secure 3-point harness ensures baby won’t be able to squirm out at mealtime even even at their squirmiest, so you don’t worry about your baby going anywhere. The seat is super lightweight and has straps that all it to be attached to most chairs. Our son is in the smaller side and the height can adjusted to have for perfect placement at the table. It also has some other cool and useful features such as the storage unit in the back where we have been able to keep his bibs and things like wipes. Super handy and concealed which is important for me as a mom to have less of a mess and things everywhere. The tray is easy to wash by hand but is also dishwasher safe which makes my life a lot easier! We love it so much and have really been enjoying our meals together as a family.
