Hate Seeing Kids Cough Non-Stop? Try Zarbee’s Naturals Today! #ZarbeesCough #MC

**I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Zarbee’s Naturals. I received product samples and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.**DSC_0852

One of the worst aspects of being a mom is when our kids are sick. There is truly nothing more terrible in my eyes than seeing them suffer. Just this past month, Zane and Hayley had a terrible cold, which developed into an awful cough. This cough, along with a low grade fever, kept them both out of school for a few days. However, the silver lining of them being sick is we have a line of natural remedy cough and cold syrups that helps them out during this tough time. The name of the brand is Zarbee’s Naturals and they have been an absolute godsend in helping my kids feel better during cold/cough season.DSC_0851

We actually have been using Zarbee’s for quite some time now. One of the reasons is both my husband and I are fanatic about what medicines we give to our children. We scout out every label and try to avoid putting medicines in their bodies, that they do not need. Couple that with the fact that cough medicines for kids (under the age of 4) were taken off the market, we needed to find a remedy to help them during their sicknesses. Zarbee’s Naturals has been our go-to brand for a long time, as we know we are giving them natural ingredients, that will be safe for their little growing bodies.

Zarbee’s Naturals was founded by Dr. Zak Zarbock, who is a practicing pediatrician and father of four boys, who hated seeing his four boys suffer from the horrid cough. Like most parents, he sought out to find an all natural solution for his boys to feel better. In turn, he invented  a safe and all-natural alternative for children and babies (2 months +) called  Zarbee’s Naturals. Recommended by more than 40,000 pediatricians nationwide, Zarbee’s remedies are formulated with a special blend of natural actives and fortified with immune-boosting vitamins.  Zarbee’s Naturals products are drug-free, alcohol-free, dye-free ,gluten-free, and contain no artificial flavors or dyes! I feel very safe and comfortable giving my children Zarbee’s Naturals when they are sick.

Zarbee’s makes many cough and cold medicines including Zarbee’s Naturals Children’s Cough Syrup +Mucus Relief, Children’s Cough Syrup Nightime, Children’s Cough Syrup, and even a Baby Cough Syrup. We have tried just about every single one of these products with huge successes. They help with coughs, irritated throats, wet coughs, hoarseness, and immune system support. His products have the age recommended on the packaging but the Baby Cough remedy can be natural/safe/effective for infants as young as 2 months. Dr. Zak Zarbock has you covered for mostly all youth age ranges with his various medicines.  The Children’s Cough Syrups are made with an unique blend of antioxidant-rich dark honeys, which is clinically proven to be as effective as DXM in relieving coughs in children, as well as immune boosting Vitamin C and Zinc. The Baby Cough Syrup is made with natural cough suppressing agave nectar, which holds the effective clinical characteristics notable in honey and is completely safe in babies.

Their line is also expanding to include Zarbee’s Naturals Children’s Sleep, recommended for children age 3 and up, as well as, Zarbee’s Naturals Cough & Throat Relief Nighttime Drink, for those over the age of 12. I had a bad cough this past week and I was able to sleep peacefully with the Nighttime Drink!

Dr. Zak Zarbock gives the following tips for combating cold/cough season, which is prominent right now.

Zarbee's Cough and Cold

Zarbee's Cough and Cold

Zarbee's Cough and ColdAlong with these suggestions, I recommend putting a humidifier in the sick child’s room to help them breathe better at night. We also make a great chicken noodle soup that the kids love to devour when they are sick, and have the nutrients necessary for them to feel better. Lastly, we make sure the kids are well hydrated when they are sick and are constantly drinking to avoid dehydration.

I would absolutely recommend the Zarbee’s Naturals line to all moms/dads looking to protect their families from coughs/colds. This line has done wonders for my family and I am sure it will do for yours as well! Be sure to try Zarbee’s Naturals today. I discovered Zarbee’s early this winter and will have it in my medicine cabinet always from now on. My kids don’t fight me because it doesn’t taste terrible, and I feel confident they’re getting only ingredients that will work and that they need.

Yea, I can’t stand it when my son is sick. He’s at that stage where their isn’t much we can do to help him and it sucks. We just got over a cold and it lasted longer than it normal would last.

We started using Zarbee’s last year and it works so well. If I could get my youngest to cover his mouth when he coughs or sneezes, I would be so happy.

I love using all natural things with my kids. I know my doctor had told us of studies that showed the ineffectiveness of the cough medicines in young kids (prob why they took it off the market!) so I am really interested in seeing how Zarbees would help!
