One of Hayley and Zane’s first words was Elmo. We started taking Hayley to Sesame Place when she was just 1 year of age. I remember the first time we took her, she was totally in awe. I vividly remember her saying, Elmo…Abby…Count! She was so young but knew all of her Sesame characters. Sesame Place holds a special place in our family’s heart!
I was extremely excited when I found out I was going to be a Sesame Place Ambassador for the 2013 season. I get to not only visit Sesame Place during the season, but also get to tell you about all the fun that is going to happen at Sesame Place throughout the season. To start out, opening day is coming up! Opening day is April 27, 2013 from 10AM- 8PM. This full-day of play will feature a brand-new Season Kick-off Celebration followed by character meet and greets and a kid-friendly DJ dance party with games and prizes. One of our favorite things to do at Sesame Place is to go to the Star Studded Celebration Dining with the characters. We always do the dining with the characters each year, and it is truly one of our favorite dining experiences. We went last summer when my daughters were 2 and they loved it. Before going I had read a lot of bad reviews on the internet such as the waterpark has a lot of ghetto people cussing at each other but we did not have that experience at all. We knew we were going to arrive late but I thought that they only had a character breakfast. I called the park and they told me about the dinner. It was well worth the extra expense to see the characters and have some additional time with them. I also suggest visiting the gift shop at the back of the park. I got tshirts and a Zoe toy for $5 each. At the same time, my husband was at the gift shop at the front of the park and he bought tshirts and a duffle bag for $30 each. We would go again and we would need to go soon as I think that my daughters will outgrow the rides by about age 8.

Was hoping you might have some insight as an ambassador and seasoned Sesame Place goer. If you buy the season pass, does everyone in the family need one or just one family member? We’d only ever bring the one car for our family of 4, my son is still less than 2 yo and my husband and I wouldn’t ever be going alone. So, it seems like the season pass holder benefits wouldn’t be necessary for each of us.
Could we buy just one season pass and then purchase the discounted daily admission for the rest of the people in our household?
