Melissa and Doug Trunki Review-Giveaway!

I have been a Melissa and Doug fan for as long as I could remember. Their products are made with the sturdiest materials, are fun, and are educational. In fact if you look at my holiday gifts for Hayley and Zane, I bought them a wide assortment of Melissa and Doug toys.

If you followed along with Melissa and Doug Facebook page, you noticed they gave away each day a toy from their Terrific Twenty List. So many wonderful toys were on that list included trains, tea sets, games, and my all time favorite, the Trunki.

If you are not familiar with the Trunki, it is a must have if you like to travel. It doubles as both a storage case for kids clothes, toys, etc, and acts as a ride on toy, for your kids to ride throughout the airports. It is also great for overnight visits to see her grandparents. We have been eyeing this “toy” for quite some time now as I truly think it is an ingenious concept.

Some more information about the Melissa and Doug Trunki:

Taking a trip with Trixie means the fun begins when packing! Your child will delight in tucking in favorite clothing and toys for a night at grandma’s or a family vacation. This is the ideal suitcase, full of child-friendly features for traveling or stay-cations! And remember, Trixie doubles as a great pull-along riding toy, too.BONUS:: FREE Alphabet and Fun Face Stickers included in this toy value set! (taken from Melissa and Doug website)

The Trunki is available at major stores that sell Melissa and Doug, as well as on their website. It retails for $39.99.

Win it: One winner will receive their own Melissa and Doug Trunki. This giveaway is run via rafflecopter so click continue reading to see the actual giveaway. The only mandatory entry is to tell me what is your favorite Melissa and Doug toy from the list here: Melissa and Doug in the comment section proceeding this post. While the other entries are optional, I highly suggest you fill it out to increase your chances of winning. US only
a Rafflecopter giveaway

* I received the above product for review purposes. As always, all my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources.

My kids are too old for Melissa and Doug toys, but they used to have the wooden puzzles they make. In addition, I just bought my nephew, who is 3, a Melissa and Doug wooden toy that has boards with pictures and wooden tiles that you have to use to make the picture on the board, lots of fun!

Not to mention the Trunki since we travel so much and packing is half of the fun! I have been focusing on allowing my children to pack themselves with a list. I make sure that they don’t forget the really important stuff, but all-in-all I am also allowing them to make mistakes here and there so that they can see the importance of following directions and being organized. This would be a great motivator! We love rolling suitcases!
