This dentist is using Oral B and Crest to help reduce plaque!

A few weeks back, I told you how I was going to participate in a regiment of brushing, flossing, and using a mouthwash to try to reduce my overall plaque level. I wanted to personally use a new regiment and find out what works for me, before recommending it to my patients. I happen to LOVE Crest and Oral B so when I found out I was going to be testing some of their new products to help reduce plaque and prevent new plaque from forming on my teeth, I was very excited. I started following my new regiment about one month ago and I have noticed visibly healthier teeth. I have also been raving about some of my new Crest and Oral B products that I have tried and trying to get my patients to try out them. I have seem some great results in reduction of gingivitis and overall healthy gums. My patients have been telling me that by using the system of brushing, flossing, and using a mouthwash, they have that same sparkling clean feeling that they get when they leave my hygienist’s chair. I love to hear this.

So what is my regiment?  It is simple: I follow three steps. First, I use Glide Pro-Health floss. This floss protects against gingivitis, cavities, and bad breath. It has a fresh mint flavor which is awesome to keep your mouth smelling fresh. This Glide floss slides up to 50% more easily in tight space.  By using this floss, one is effectively removing plaque and food particles in-between teeth to help prevent cavities.

Next, I use Crest Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control on my new Oral B Pro-Health Clinical Pro-Flex toothbrush. The Clinical Pro-Flex has flexing sides that adjust to the unique curves and contours of your teeth, including the gum line, for a superior clean vs. an ordinary brush. Because of its flexibility, Clinical Pro-Flex is gentle on gums too!  I use this toothbrush in conjunction with the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste that helps protect against cavities, gingivitis, plaque, sensitivity, and tartar. It also helps freshen breath while getting your teeth white and bright.

Last I use the Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash. This oral rinse prevents against gingivitis and plaque. It helps reduces plaque and even  helps prevents plaque re-growth. It will help reverse gingivitis in 2 weeks time! Using this mouthwash will kill 99% of germs to improve ones breath.

I have been following this plan now for one month and plan to continue using these four amazing products. Being a dentist, there are so many products to choose from, but as I said before, Crest and Oral B are two dental names that come up everyday in the dental office. Why not try to reduce the plaque in your mouth and have a healthy smile? Teeth are incredibly important so be kind to them! Check out how to get started by reading on their website about the Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control Program.

That floss is my favorite:)) We use Sensodyne toothpaste, which helps a lot with our sensitive teeth. Hey you should do a review on a teeth whitening product. Something I want to get done so bad but have to focus on getting my cavities filled, wisdom teeth pulled, and repairing a root canal after this little baby here:)
