The Catalog Application is now available for browsing!- Review!

I LOVE to shop! By now, if you read my site, you know that I am a huge shopper! I do like to plan out what I am going to shop so I don’t overbuy, as well as for money saving reasons. One of the ways I do this, is by doing mostly catalogue browsing. I tend to receive around 5-10 catalogues a week and I spend a couple of hours on a Sunday, going through what I want to purchase, as well as what I need to purchase. I make lists and when I am ready to have my shopping day, I have my lists handy from all the catalogues. I also like to shop online using my catalogues. Most recently, I have been doing a lot of online shopping (having two kids gives you limited time), and am finding browsing catalogues and then shopping online is easier to do!

However, my one huge problem is the catalogs accumulate. I run out of room where to put them and they end up in every facet around my house. My husband gets annoyed when he goes to bed and he finds that one catalog at the foot of our bed. I admit, I do a lot of catalog shopping and sometimes, I just put the catalogs all over the house, based on where I am that day. I also have this horrible feeling that I am doing a disservice to the environment by collecting all these paper catalogs. These days going green is in and people are trying every which way to try to save our environment. I decided that I would limit the catalogs that I subscribed to. Although that made me sad, I know that was what was best for me. That is until I found about the new Catalog application from thefind available on the iPad , larger Droids, iPhones, and the Kindle Fire.

What is the Catalog application you might ask? Plain and simple, it is your all inclusive application that features some of the best catalogs that you could ever ask for. You simply download the Catalog application and then you can start browsing all the wonderful catalogs available on this app. You can then save a product or a catalog page right to your device that you  are using to browse the application. You can also subscribe to a catalog directly from this app. You can check out all the latest issues in one place- How cool is that!

Some of the catalogs that you will find on the Catalog App include:

1-800-Flowers

Athleta

Barneys New York

Best Buy

Brooks Brothers

Brookstone

CB2

Coldwater Creek

Crate & Barrel

Crew Cuts

The best part of the Catalog App by TheFind is it is completely free. You got it- download it and start searching for all your amazing catalogs at no cost to you! At any given time there are over 95 catalog merchants featuring 175-200 issues encompassing everything from fashion, beauty, home, kids, and more!  The Catalog app is frequently ranked as the #1 most popular app on iTunes – http://itunes.apple.com/us/genre/ios-catalogs/id6022?mt=8 – in the new “Catalogs” category.

I love this application. I love being able to get over 200 catalogs in one app as opposed to going to download every single store app which is cumbersome and not as efficient. Be sure to check out the Catalog app on the IPAD, Android, and Kindle Fire. I am going to be back next month and talk about how I used the Catalog App for my newest purchase. Stay tuned…

Great idea! I love the idea of getting fewer catalogs in the mail and choosing to look at the ones I want to. Also, I love the idea of all the trees that will be saved with fewer catalogs mailed.
