Each blogger is responsible for their own giveaway and my giveaway is for the  very awesome Yum Yum bowls and plates.  As most of you know, I have lost a lot of weight since having Zane. Actually, I stepped on the scale at the doctors office last week, and I am at my lowest weight since High School- Yah!!  Part of my weight loss was not only eating right and exercising, but limiting my portion size. Portion size is something I have always struggled with since I was a small girl. I thought I was eating good but after 5 servings of healthy foods, it doesn’t justify eating healthy in the first place. Can you relate to my problem of portion size problem?

So I have found the perfect solution and that is Yum Yum dishes. Yum Yum dishes are truly adorable plates and dishes that are sized perfectly for correct portion sizes. By having the correct measurements on your plate, it will help you from the dreaded overeating and feeling stuffed problem. How many times do you grab a bunch of potato chips right from the bag? With the Yum Yum dishes, you can measure out the correct amount you should have and then stop when you see the saying on the bottom of the bowl, that Yum Yum time is over. Once I reach those words on the bottom of the bowl, it is motivation for me not to go for the second serving of food. I not only like it for me, but I use it as “bribing” mechanism for my daughter. I let her have her nightly snack in the Yum Yum bowl and she knows when she reaches the over on the bottom, she is done and not to ask for another. It really works!

We a chance to review 4- 9 inch dinner plates and 4-4 oz. bowls. The 9 inch dinner plates were a perfect size and sectioned off in fours, so you can enjoy something from every food group. There are sections on your plate for protein, carbs, and vegetables.   The 9 inch plate is also a perfect sized plate  and it has  enough food on that plate to keep me going to the next meal, without feeling really full.  No one likes that ” I need to lay down feeling.” Well, with the Yum Yum plates you will not have this problem. These bowls are adorable to take with you to the movies ( shhh..okay, sometimes I sneak food in)  or to just enjoy them in the comfort in your house.     My favorite outfit is one I haven't been able to wear since before having my kids. I also have a lot of weight to lost. I've currently lost 10 lbs since Valentine's day, but I still have about 40 more to go! I would LOVE to win these plates!

    I have to go with my yoga pants and a tank top. Gotta be comfy chasing a 2 year old! And yes I am constantly trying to lose weight, just got a treadmill though. It took me 2 years of saving my change but I finally got it! Woohoo.

    Well I want to lose 20 lbs but I'm breastfeeding so I'm taking it slow. I don't have a "thin" outfit, I'm just lucky if I find clothes that fit me. It's not because of my weight but my height and chest.

    I just totally revamped my diet to include more fruits, veggies, whole grains, & lean meats. I eat small portions 4 – 6 times a day & drink lots of water. I've lost 24 pounds since Jan 16th !

    I have a pair of jeans that helps to motivate me…when they get tight I know I have to make some changes! haha. I have lost 10 lbs since January, mostly from diet changes and choosing the right snacks- not handfuls of goldfish.

    I am trying to lose. I am more or less (by a few lbs) 60 pounds over my goal weight. I would LOVE to win this! May have to invest if I don't. I really think portion control is the way to go for sure. That way it doesn't deprive you or drive you crazy. I love this idea. The cherry red is my favorite. As far as my favorite skinny outfit…it's been way too long really to remember. I started having kids 10 yrs ago. I have 4 kids and I'm so done.     I have a thyroid disorder that won't allow me to lose weight, but I need to maintain where I'm at, making sure I don't gain any, either. My husband is trying to lose weight, but he's not trying very hard. And I'm making sure my kids are staying active so they don't have a problem with their weight in the near future.

    I know you probably won't like this answer but I would like to maintain weight. I finally gained enought weight to look normal. I had lost way too much weight after breastfeeding and was looking a bit anorexic. I am happy with my weight now.

    I'm trying to maintain or gain some weight. I was about 118lbs when I got pregnant with my son (first child), and I fell to 115, then 111 after having him (nursing). I didn't want to fall below 110 because I feel that is the lowest possible healthy weight i could be for my size, and last night i noticed that i fell below 110. I've been eating like normal, not really exercising, and switching to higher fat foods (like switching from 1% milk to whole milk, but nothing seems to be helping…. none of my clothes fit, i look like a little kid playing in mom's clothes 🙁
