Coming from a dentist, getting dental work can be expensive- I have an option!

Dental work can be very expensive! I am in the field so I am a first hand witness to how much a full mouth reconstruction can cost. Even if you only need a few cavities/crowns done, the financial burden can add up. I am always asked what are the best dental insurances to get? Honestly, they all have their particular pros/cons.

I will tell you that I did find out about this site called DentalPlans.com. Honestly, I have never heard of them before and I am extremely impressed when I finished my research. Basically, you save on dental care and don’t need to go through the paperwork hassles that the insurance plans create. At DentalPlans.com, you simply sign up, pay the fee for the dental plan membership, and print out your card. Then when you go to your dentist, simply present them your membership card. Sounds so easy, doesn’t it!

DentalPlans.com offers patients more choices and more value for their money. In today’s economy, nothing can be better. They offer a combined total of 30 + dental plans at over 100,000 dentists nationwide. Whether you are an individual, family, student, or retired, DentalPlans.com provides the most affordable dental insurance alternatives. Plan members have access to a large network of participating dentists that agreed to offer their services at discount prices. I personally checked out my area and in my 5-mile radius, there are 10 dentists taking the -a discount plan. I found out one of their most popular plans is the Aetna Dental Access plan. It is a very popular family plan (value is $159.95/yr) which includes discounts on cleanings, filling, brace, and much more!

I think my favorite part of the DentalPlans.com is there is no annual limit. Don’t you hate when you have to get 2 crowns done and your limit is reached. Then what? With this wonderful plan, you don’t need to worry about that. Plan members enjoy discounts on most dental procedures all year round.  You also don’t need to wait to see if you are approved for that particular crown or that root canal. DentalPlans.com will tell you exactly what the discounts are for a particular procedure.

If you are looking for an affordable, unique alternative to the traditional dental insurance, please check out DentalPlans.com.

If you are interested in signing up, please use the coupon code Chronicles and you will receive 10 % off.

How cool! Our insurance (albeit cheap) doesn't cover braces and my poor son desperately needs them. I'm horrible, though. I have had dental insurance for the past several years but haven't been to the dentist in…um…oh…about 5 years. :/ I've only ever had one cavity in my life and it was because I bit a pit in a fig newton and one of the points on one of my molars chipped off. I never went to have it repaired and a cavity started in that enamel-less spot. I know I don't have a cavity and I take good care of my gums but I do know the importance of getting my teeth cleaned. I've been so lazy. GOSH how embarrassing! :/

This is SUCH a great option!! Growing up, we never had dental insurance and luckily we found a dentist that would work with us, but most people don't have that option. It is SO GOOD to see good companies like this! Thanks for writing this!

Very interesting. OUr insurance is very cheap every month but the annual limit killed me this year! I paid about 2000 out of pocket. That was for 1 root canal, 1 crown and 4 fillings. 🙁 I will do some research and comparisions with this! Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. From previous experience, dentist bills are NOT cheap and everything helps.

I'm passing this along to my Mom. I swear, she breaks a tooth every other day. When I was home last, she did just that, and was debating whether or not to wait until January for a permanent fix because she had already used up all of the funds.

    Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I just had two fillings replaced last Tuesday and I need to get two cavities filled this Tuesday. I'm hoping my bill isn't too crazy! Thanks for the tip!

This is very interesting! I have to add dental on to my health insurance if I want coverage so I usually do it every other year. With my little guy now, I'm thinking I may need to every year. I think I'll have to check this out!

I know about dental costs all too well. I'm in the middle of dental work and surgeries that are totaling up to over $12,000 with no dental insurance. Dental Plans was one of the first resources I turned to but unfortunately, my dentist doesn't accept any of it. 🙁

Our dental insurance gets maxed out so quickly. I need four crowns and a root canal and have been putting it off for years. Ugh! But this option sounds excellent – might even be better than our insurance! Thanks for sharing.

So many people don't have dental coverage and its so important! We are lucky that my husband's employer provides insurance with a great dental plan. We have only exceeded our limit once so far but it would be great if there were no limits.

We do not have insurance and my teeth are ruined from illness. I just recently purchased a plan through DentalPlans.com. I purchased a family plan, the Careington Care 500 Series Family Plan. Now I just have to work up the nerve to go in.

I actually used Dental Plans to find my family one. We got a great plan and they've saved us hundreds! I love seeing the discount when I get the bill. It makes going to the dentist a LITTLE less scary 😉

Wish the latinos had access to care on online sites .even wedmd.com they can't access but only a few sites like http://www.heatlhsouk.com they can access in Spanish for affordable health care and dental care, and we need more discounted dental care and insurance nationwide. . .I know I pay via cash and not with insurance so I need cheaper health service access. . .A lot of my immigrant friends don't speak Spanish though. . .that's a problem with a lot of these sites.healthsouk.com
