Saturday’s Top Five Laughs

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! We are very busy this weekend because Hayley’s birthday carnival party is Sunday. I will definately post pictures next week.

Before I tell my top five laughs, I need to give a shout out to my baby boy, Zane, who turned 6 months today!!

And now for the top five laughs:

5. Zane has been a very late roller. He didn’t really get the concept or rolling from his belly to his back till this week. On Wednesday, I put him down in the middle of the room and I  put clothes away in in my closet. I turn my back for two seconds, and he is on the other side of the room. I guess he mastered rolling overnight!

4. Zane is a feedy machine. The other night, he went 3.5 hours without wanting to eat. Yes, this is a record!Anyway, I gave him his bottle and he grabbed it and sucked it dry in 5 minutes flat. I can’t keep up with his eating. Need I mention he takes 2 1/2 jars of baby food a day too!

3.One of Hayley’s friends asked her what her parents do for work. She answered them, “They are making a living”. Girl cracks me up!

2. Hayley can come up with every imaginable way to get out of going to bed. Her new one is,” Mommy, I can’t go to sleep because I want to stay up and hug you all night”. And guess what, I delay putting her to bed because I love the cuddles. Three is the cutest age!

1. Zane is Hayley’s best friend! Last night I found her singing. The wheels on the Bus, 50 million times to Zane. I asked her why.? She told me, “He was crying and this song makes him happy”. My heart melted!

    Great post! Happy 6 months to Zane!! Now time to start sleeping through the night 😉 I love #3, that's a fantastic response!! As for #2, we live in that world too – delaying anything she doesn't want to do with asking for 'another hug and kiss'. I literally got teary eyed for #1, that is the sweetest thing ever. Don't you love how they just know how to love each other without being taught!!

    OMG that "they are making a living" comment cracked me up! Hilarious!! Zane is such a little cutie, I can't get over all that hair! Can't wait to see pics of the carnival party! 🙂

    LOL @ they are making a living too cute!!

    Mine would be my daughter screaming and running to the tv when yo gabba gabba comes on and dancing when whatever band they have on the episode starts. (She sounds like an in love teenie bopper) LOL!

    Happy 6 month Zane! He loves to eat, that's great! Cecilia is delaying her bedtime too by wanting to give more hugs and kisses.

    awww, hayley says the cutest things! i love that she said "making a living" and that she sings to her baby brother! i can't even take it…seriously, your photos of zane in his sports gear are SO cute!

    Hayley sounds hilarious – she is at such a cute age! And happy 6 months to Zane!

    My girls were 2 1/2 years apart, and I think it's a great age difference to keep them close, but not too competitive.
