How I Girl- STEM Clothing Line for Kids!

Sugar, spice and everything nice; that is what little girls are made of. Also, girls play with barbies, not G.I Joes or Lego’s. Girls aren’t meant to play soccer, football or basketball. They are meant to be proper young ladies, who will one day become the ideal mothers and wives to their husbands. These are all things that my great grandmother taught my grandmother, who in turn taught my mother. Society was founded on these principles and expectations of our young girls.  Now though How I Girl, stem clothing,  is here to change that! How I Girl- STEM Clothing Line for Kids!

Fortunately for my children and myself, times started changing and by the time I came along, my own mother was teaching me that there was much more that women are capable of than being a good housewife. That’s not to say that being a good wife and mother aren’t some of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had, nor that those roles aren’t things to be admired. Simply put: no matter what your goals in life are, myself and my daughters have been taught that we can do ANYTHING we set out to to, regardless of the stigma that women have a certain place in life and the rest belongs to men.

With dedication, passion and confidence, our little girls will one day be leaders. They will be Scientists. Mathematicians. Doctors. Pulitzer Prize winners. How I Girl, is a STEM clothing brand that celebrates girls and the awesome power they possess that allows them to be anything they set their minds to. Their STEM clothing brand is designed to empower & inspire! Too many clothes these days send the wrong message to our little girls, but How I Girl encourages young girls to be themselves, whether they are sports fans, scientists, or even politicians! How I Girl- STEM Clothing Line for Kids!

Too often I hear of society tearing down women. Telling them that their place is at home for the benefit of their children and husbands. I used to hear the same thing as a young girl and it was very discouraging to the big dreams I had of what I wanted my life to be later on down the road. If I had listened to the nay-sayers I would never have pursued my dream to become a dentist that helps others with confidence and dental health. Now, many years later and with the help of supportive family and friends, I’m a successful business woman AND a mother/wife.

My wish for our young women in the world is that they know they have the ability and determination to do anything they put their minds to no matter how high the odds seem that try to stack themselves in their path. With brands such as How I Girl, and their empowering clothing messages, I have full faith that more young girls than ever will be encouraged to do all of the great things they have planned in this life whether it be in fields of science, archaeology, mathematics or politics. The sky is the limit when you have confidence and positive STEM themed clothing from How I Girl on your side!
