July 4th will be here before we know it and I have a delicious recipe for July 4th dipped oreos, which is perfect for all the BBQs and festivities that will happen! These Dipped Oreos (red, white, and blue) are so easy to make and you can make them in batches, to make it easier to bring to parties and such.
JULY 4th DIPPED OREOS
Makes: 6 Dipped Oreso
Prep: 10 Minutes
Cook: 18 Minutes
In Active Time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients for DIPPED OREOS (red, white, blue):
5 oz red candy melts
5 oz blue candy melts
5 oz white candy melts
1 tablespoon white sprinkles
6 Oreo cookies
Instructions for July 4th Dipped Oreos:
Melt each candy melt as directed on the bag as brands can vary. I heat them at 2 minutes on defrost mode, stir, then another 2 minutes on defrost mode, and stir. If more time is needed I do 1 minutes intervals on defrost mode. Do this for each color.
Place white into a piping bag.
Put a little blue and red candy melts into the mold. Place in Oreo cookies. Add more candy melts over the top to match each color. Tap mold on to the counter to get to settle. Place in freezer for 5 minutes.
Remove from freezer and drizzle with white candy melts. Let dry and serve!
