First-Ever Thomas The Tank Amusement Park opening in Edaville USA 8/15!!

*I was invited on a press day at Edaville USA. All my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources.*Thomas the Train EdavilleThomas the trainI am so excited because the very first United States Thomas the Tank Amusement Park is opening in Edaville USA next month! Starting on 8/15, you can visit Thomas like you never have been before at the Thomas the Tank Amusement Park, which will be included in your admission to Edaville USA. I recently went on a press day for the new Thomas land, and I have to say that this is the park you will want to be at this summer. For any Thomas fan, this is a must-see place, if I ever said so!

The tracks have been set and Thomas the Tank Engine®, along with his friends and favorite destinations from the Island of Sodor, will come to life August 15th with the grand opening of Thomas Land™, the largest permanent Thomas & Friends® attraction in the world.Thomas the Train park

Announced last summer, the theme park is located within Edaville USA, a family amusement park and heritage railroad located in South Carver, MA, convenient to the greater Boston and Providence areas and with the opening coinciding with the 70th anniversary celebration of Thomas & Friends, thought this would be a great family-friendly travel destination to shine a spotlight on.

Thomas Land provides fans of all generations the opportunity to experience their favorite #1 blue Engine like never before. Little engineers and their families are sure to get excited about the latest Sodor adventure and I thought this would make a great addition to your summer coverage. Thomas Land will cover 11.5 acres and boasts 14 rides based on Thomas & Friends and the Island of Sodor. Attractions at Thomas Land will feature a 20-minute long, scenic train ride on a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine and theme park favorites including a roller coaster, drop tower, Ferris wheel, soft-play area and much more.

The park, located near Cape Code and amongst the area’s renowned cranberry bogs, will officially open August 15th and remain open throughout the fall and 2015 holiday season with special events throughout. Tickets are now available at Edaville.com/ThomasLand.

I had no idea that they were making a Thomas the Train amusement park! This would be so much fun to visit, my nephews were huge fans when they were younger.

Oh, how fun! This makes sense because it would translate really well to a theme park. I still have a little wind-up Thomas the Tank Engine toy from when I was a kid in a box of mementos somewhere!

I’ll have to check this out with my daughter. We are only just in Rhode Island and I think she will love it.
