I have a teenager who is going to be 18 in October. I have no idea where the time has gone but it is totally insane, that in a few short months, she will be an adult. Recently I was discussing with her, how some of the trends and fashion statements that were popular when I was a teenager are coming back for her next generation, the Gen-Xgeneration. Things such as pinky rings, oversized clothes, and baggy jeans are coming back into style fast and furious.
Pinky rings are something that was popular growing up and now I am seeing them all over. Aurate New York features sustainable jewelry including the pinky rings. When I was younger, I remember these trench-style coats and I was just thinking how awesome they are coming back!
You remember those butterfly clips and trucker hats! Those are all back in style again along with ripped tees, althetic styles, and preppy style. Bold colors are also very hot in 2026. Pigtails are also really big this year which I love seeing coming back.
With 2026 upon us, look for those fresh styles that are coming back in magazines and TV shows. You will see it all around!
