Film Synopsis
Freakier Friday picks up years after Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lindsay Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.

What we thought:
I will be honest and say I did not expect to like Freakier Friday as much as I did. Sure most times when you go back to a film 20 years later, it can flop but this most certainly was not the case with this movie. We thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish with comedy and many heartfelt memories. I think what really touched me is the relationship between mom and daughter and the struggles, along with all the love, that comes with those relationships. Having two girls, this movie definitely touched me in that department and had me tearing up at parts. It is a perfect sequel that brings back all the nostalgia.
Freakier Friday is a perfect Friday night movie. Spend tonight getting a bowl of popcorn and watching Freakier Friday!
