Last night, my girlfriend and I watched The Watchers on DVD. Both of us are huge scary movie fans and are huge fans of M Night Shyamalan. So when we heard his daughter, Ishna Night Shyamalan was directing The Watchers in her directorial debut, we were intrigued to watch. I will say that we ABSOLUTELY LOVED this movie. Without giving too much away, both my friend and I were shocked at the ending. We did not see it coming at all which made the movie that much better. It was beautiful acting from everyone in the cast, eerie music set at the right time, and suspense to the 9! Also, the beautiful landmarks of Ireland is truly not to be missed. If you love suspense combined with scary, The Watchers is the movie for you!

SYNOPSIS
This forest isn’t charted on any map. Every car breaks down at its tree line. Mina’s is no different. Left stranded, she is forced into the dark woodland only to find a woman shouting, urging Mina to run to a concrete bunker. As the door slams behind her, the building is besieged by screams. Mina finds herself in a room with a wall of glass, and an electric light that activates at nightfall, when the Watchers come above ground. These creatures emerge to observe their captive humans and terrible things happen to anyone who doesn’t reach the bunker in time. Afraid and trapped among strangers, Mina is desperate for answers. Who are the Watchers, and why are they keeping the humans imprisoned, keen to watch their every move.
