New York Style Bagel Crisps are Awesome!

I lived in NYC for a couple of years and I have to say, NY is known to have some of the best foods. However, when I think of NY, one food comes to mind and that is bagels. New York has the BEST bagels in the world- I challenge you to find better! Now that I live in a separate state and don’t readily have access to New York bagels, I needed to find an alternative that would taste just like the New York bagels that are near and dear to my heart. I am lucky that I found the perfect substitute and that is New York Style Bagel Crisps.

New York Style Bagel Crisps have the authentic taste of freshly baked bagels from New York City bakeries. I have been eating these crisps for quite awhile now but did not know just how many varities are now on the market! The New York Bagel Crisps are available in 7 AMAZING flavors including the Roasted Garlic, Sea Salt, Plain, Cinnamon Raisin, Everything, Sesame, and  Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper.  I will admit to you that I keep bags of mostly everyone of these varities in my house at all times.

So you might be asking what is so special about New York Bagel Crisps? The answer is simply EVERYTHING! They have the genuine crisp of everyone’s favorite and unhealthy snack, potato chips, but with 50% less fat and 50% fewer calories than potato chips. I know for me adhering to a healthy diet is part of my everyday life. By eating these New York Bagel Crisps, I can be sure that I will not be adding any dimensions to my waist line while being more than satisfied.

They are available in the mini Bagel Crisp and Original Bagel Crisp size.  I tend to eat the mini Bagel Crisp when I am just snacking out of the bag, while the Original Bagel Crisp size, I end up eating for a treat with some special cheeses and such. I have been experimenting with what I can put on the New York Style Bagel Crisps to serve great appetizers for summer parties. I have tried putting goat cheese on the Bagel Crisp and it was delicious!

I also tried putting hummus and sliced grapes as the perfect summer addition to the New York Bagel Crisps. They are such a huge hit at home and I decided to test it out by bringing it to the Forth of July BBQ we attended. Every loved it! It is very simple to do- take a Original New York Style Bagel Crisp (I used roasted garlic) with a teaspoon of humus. Then top with a 1/2 grape sliced up for a very easy and tasty treat.

I eat the New York Style Original and Mini Bagel Crisps everyday. The kids love it as a tasty addition to their lunches. Sometimes, I even top a New York Style Crisp with a fruit spread for an easy breakfast. I love the taste of the New York Bagel Crisps alone but sometimes adding a slice of cheese, piece of fruit, or spread on the Crisp is just what I need to get through the day.

Since we entertain a lot in the summer, I always put out the New York Style Bagel Chips for snacking purposes. Most of the times, I put them out in bowls plain and then make an appetizer out of them. Most people did not know that the same crisps I used in the bowls, I used  as an appetizer. How awesome is that! In the summer, with it being hot, the last thing people want to eat is something that is hot and unappealing. That is why the New York Style Bagel Chips make the perfect snack choice in the summer. They are light and delectable!

I also would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about the awesome sweepstakes going on at New York Style Facebook Page. Running from June 28 to September 2, the Bagel Snack Star Sweepstakes give fans a chance to win a red carpet movie experience with their friends and family. Grand Prize: One winner will have the chance to win a private VIP photographed and catered experience at their local movie theater. New York Style will rent out the theater for you to host the ultimate experience with 50 friends. The winner will also receive a gift card for a year supply ($500 worth) of movie tickets. How awesome is that!!! I sure hope I win because movies are one of my favorite pastimes!  Make sure you check out New York Style on Facebook and Twitter. Good luck!

I’ve never tried bagel crisps. I wasn’t sure if I would like them. I love bagels but prefer them soft, not crispy at all. And I never would have thought to put hummus and grapes together!

We used to live in NYC, too, and love bagels! I’ve used Bagel Crisps to make fun little sandwiches. Love the hummus and grapes idea, I’ll have to try that.

Thanks for sharing. I love the idea of adding hummus and topping with grapes. My son loves grapes but a little shy to try the hummus. Hopefully putting the combination on a great tasting crisp will help.

I used to love Bagel Crisps! But now I’m gluten-free for health reasons. 🙁 I’ll have to try the hummus and grape thing on some GF crackers I have! Thanks for the idea!

I do love these but they are very pricey for the quantity you get. I only buy them if they are on sale and even then, it’s a rare treat. They are definitely good!!
