Rubbermaid Hidden Recycling Review-Giveaway

We are a huge recycling family.  When we first started recycling about 8 years back now, we used these mega bins that we kept outside in our garage. While I love recycling, I hated the fact that I had to go to my garage anytime I had to throw something away. Call me lazy but after the millionth trip a day to the garage, it got tiresome. My husband also resorted to washing out our plastics/glasses and leaving it on our kitchen counter till he would make his daily night trip to put all our recyclables in the garage. Again, I didn’t like this because my counters would be crowded all day and I just plain hated the look. So, there was truly no options for us till I found out about the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler.

The Rubbermaid Hidden Recylcing Unit makes my  life so much easier. It simply is a wonderful unit that attaches to the inside of a cabinet door to collect recyclables. It will keep recyclables out of your sight and keep your counters looking neat again! Every time I have something to recycle (milk can as an example), I just open up my counter and put it in the Recycling Unit. Then when it fills up, I lift the bag from the lid and cabinet by the handle and take it to my recycling bin. So easy.. So efficient!  Now, I no longer have a mess on my counters which is a huge plus to my family.

Not only is it efficient for my recycling needs, but the bag is so durable and will hold all my recyclables. I really only need to empty out the bag once every four days or so, which is remarkable. I no longer have to trek to the garage 6,7,8 times a day- now, I go to the garage bins once every four  days!

 

In terms of installation, it took all of three minutes from the time I took it out of the box to the time to connect it to my cabinet in my kitchen. The fabric the bag uses is also extremely easy to clean as well! It is portable, lightweight, affordable , and a huge space saver… what more can you ask for,  to make your life easier!

    I love their water bottles!!!! I HATE buying bottled water and I need something to drink wherever I go (being pregnant and nursing will do that to you) so these are the perfect solution for me.

    i LOVE the hidden recycle bin! ours is so small and ugly and fills up way too fast.
    luckily i gave up diet coke again, bc the cans would pile on up 🙂

    The laundry baskets. I use them for laundry baskets, hampers, toys, catch-alls, and I even use them sometimes instead of a suitcase when traveling with the baby.
