Sesame Street LIVE at the PPAC, RI March 9-11! Come enter to win a Family 4-Pack of Tickets!

Lala Lala-Elmo World! I have to say that whenever Sesame Street Live comes to town, it is a mandatory that we go. The minute, Hayley sees the commercials, she harasses me to get her tickets. She has loved Elmo, Big Bird, Abby, The Count, Ernie, Zoe, Bert, and all the other characters since the day she came out of my belly- True! Now, Zane has acquired the love for Elmo. I believe that his first word will no doubtingly be Elmo!

I am very excited to let you know that Providence Performing Art Center (PPAC) in Providence, Rhode Island will be hosting a total of 7 shows of Sesame Street Live: 1-2-3…Imagine! with Elmo & Friends.

Dates/times of shows:
..March 9, 2012- 10:30 AM
..March 9, 2012- 7:00 PM
..March 10, 2012- 2:00 PM
..March 10, 2012-5:30 PM
..March 11, 2012-1:00 PM
..March 11, 2012-4:30 PM

Imagine singing and dancing with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all your favorite Sesame Street Live friends!  This magical journey begins as Sesame Street’s mail carrier, Sam, stops to deliver special postcards from far-away places. When Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and friends wish to visit the exciting locations, Sam shares her secret on how they can- it’s easy as counting “1-2-3..Imagine!” Ernie’s imagination takes him to the high seas to captain the “Good Ship Rubber Duckie, while Elmo dances to the rhythm of the African rainforest, and Bert meets an octopus who has the blues. It’s a story of adventure and fun that teaches children that they can be anyone, do anything and go anywhere with the power of imagination.

Like television’s Sesame Street, each Sesame Street Live productions features timeless lessons for all ages. The universal appeal of each Broadway-quality musical production continues long after preschool. Adults will appreciate the high-tech stagecraft, cleverly written script, and music they’ll recognize and enjoy sharing with children  including “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon”, “She’ll be Comin’ Round the Mountain”, and “Surfin’ Safari.”

We can’t wait to see this show. Both kids have their Sesame Street gear ready to wear and we have a countdown on the calendar. They can’t wait to meet their best friends!

That looks fun! We took my oldest a few years ago and he loved it. ALthough the random lady behind us ruined it some by being totally weird and insisting on talking to us the whole time and trying to feed my son (who was 2) her partially eaten cotten candy (gross).
