My daughter and her new Spirithood-Check it out!

My first sight of a Spirithood was on Keisha. I thought to myself, “What is that fabulous accessory on her head?” It looked adorable! So when I was asked to review the new line of kids Spirithoods, I jumped on the opportunity.

So what is a Spirithood?  A Spirithood is basically a collection of awesome, exotic hoods representing different animals. Some of the popular animals include a gray wolf, panda, and husky hood. In about one months time, they will be adding the Muppet hoods for kids to go along with the release of the popular Muppet movie.  Along with being an adorable, warm, cuddly, furry hat, this hood promotes kids to bond with the nature surroundings around them.

We went on a hike a few days back and Hayley wore her new Spirithood.  She was so excited to feel the love of nature around her and have the love resound in her adorable hat. The hat is so adorable and cuddly and  it is also made with tough resilience. It is virtually indestructible. Currently the hood is slightly big on Hayley, but we will take that, because it is going to grow with her through her years.

When I heard I was going to receive it, I had to make sure that no animals were hurt in the making of this product. I can assure you that no animals were harmed as they are made of 100% faux fur. In addition, the people at Spirithoods belong to a program called  ProBlue. When people purchase a Spirithood with the PRO BLUE logo, they will  donate 10% of net profits to a non-profit organization dedicated to helping that particular Spirit animal. Their goal is to educate people on the importance of helping these animals and empower them to make a difference. This was one main reason why I love receiving these products as they are very animal friendly and that is important to us in this family.

I hope you liked hearing about the new Spirithood kids collection as much as Hayley loves wearing hers. She keeps telling me that she can’t wait till it gets really cold so she can wear it all the time. The girl is more stylish than me these days. I need to purchase my own spirithood so I can match!

CUUTE! It reminds me of this woman who worked at the car dealership in Juneau. She had this horrible hair-do where she looked like she had a marmot on her head.

But this is cute, not creepy. Or outdated. 🙂
