Diono Radian RXT Convertible Car Seat Review + Giveaway!

When it comes to the safety of your children, you can’t be too careful these days. This is especially true when it comes to baby products that are geared towards keeping your little ones safe. As parents, we spare no expense when faced with the desire to protect our babies but often times we don’t get hung up on just the expense but rather the sheer number of different brands and models of baby gear that are out on the market today. As a mom who has done her fair share of purchasing products for my children, I know how hard it is to put in hours of research and comparison between the best products on the market today. It’s not only frustrating but maddening as well.

Thankfully there’s a company called Diono who has made it their mission to ensure the safety of our little ones. Their passion in life is to lovingly engineer ideas that are all about providing safety and smiles to their customers. Diono is a maker of baby related products like car seats, strollers, booster seats, covers and parts for some of your favorite products and accessories that go along with them.top RadianRXT BlackScarlet Straight Diono Radian RXT Convertible Car Seat Review + Giveaway!

I was recently given the opportunity to partner with Diono to review one of their awesome car seats, the Radian RXT. Considered to be one of the best on the market right now, the Radian RXT is about as safe as you can get. It’s also a little pricey but when you consider the safety of your little one with buying a cheaper, less sound option, I’ll take the price tag any day. While it might be a little expensive up front, you’ll be glad you went with the Radian RXT because it’ll actually save you money in the long run!unnamed5 Diono Radian RXT Convertible Car Seat Review + Giveaway!

You might be wondering how it’s possible to save money when the price tag is so big.. It’s actually quite simple: usually with every milestone or stage your child meets, you have to buy a new car seat to fit their growth which ends up costing you more money but with the Radian RXT it’s actually 3 car seats in one! An infant seat, toddler seat and booster, so, you never have to spend more money when it’s time to upgrade your child to a new stage of development.rxt lifestyle 3across FullImage 1663x418 700x175 Diono Radian RXT Convertible Car Seat Review + Giveaway!

As an additional bonus, the RXT also allows you to extend rear facing which is proven to be safer for your child in the long run. You can enjoy rear racing from 5-45lbs for maximum safety and with the help of the included plush head and body support cushions, you’ll never worry about your child’s safety in the car again.

One of the things that make this car seat different from the rest and safer, is the fact that it’s built with premium materials such as energy absorbing EPS foam, aluminum reinforced side walls and utilizes a 5-point safety harness to keep your little one secure during use. My favorite added measure of security is the steel, alloy frame that’s been built into the Radian RXT for maximum safety.

If you’re an avid follower of the ever changing car seat safety regulations then you know that the recommended age to keep your child in a booster seat is at least 8 years old. Some people choose to keep their kids in a booster seat until age 11. The Radian RXT allows you to keep your child in a car seat forward facing up to 80lbs with the 5-point harness but when you convert to a booster seat for your big kids, you get the opportunity to keep them in until they reach from 50-120lbs. That’s awesome compared to some car seats on the market.

Radian car seats fit 3-across in most mid-size vehicles. I have 2 kids and a Ford Focus. A Recaro car seat takes up nearly half the back seat. The large infant seat does also/ For a Radian car seat to fit 3 seat in a mid-sized car would be fantastic. It would let me take my kids and a friend and their child out to events and play dates. Best FEATURE!

  4. Jammie says

Favorite feature is the cover coming off and being washable. I also love that it is a 10 year life and goes to different sizes.

the frame looks amazingly sturdy and i love how narrow it is! we’re having a heck of a time squeezing 3 carseats in our truck!

  6. Marty says

A small detail, but definitely the angled cup holder! The repetitive cries of “Mama, can you hold this?” and “Mama, can I have my ba-ba?” while driving get old real quick, besides being totally distracting from driving.

  7. DanielleD says

too many great features to pick one- I love how narrow it is in case we decide to have a third baby :) Love the extended rear facing as that is very important to us, as our four year old just turned front facing & I hope to keep our 18 month old rear facing just as long ! thanks for the chance

  12. Jack B says

I like the room to grow design, it’s great to be able to hold on to one seat rather than buy 3 or more over the years for one child.

  13. Catalina K says

My favorite feature is the energy-absorbing EPS foam, which must make for a smooth ride for the child. Thank you for hosting this giveaway.

  17. Vanessa Richard says

i love so many things. The rear facing weight limit goes up to 45 lbs which would support my five year old soon not that i would face him that way he would have no leg room. I love that the seat folds it could easily be stored in the trunk when we are not using it .

  28. Chrissy says

My favorite feature is the size – not many car seats fit into my husband’s car and some of the ones that do don’t seem very safe. I know that this one is safe but compact!

  29. Brent Corrigan says

The 3 buckle positions is really important. We bought a 3 in 1 carseat that only has 2. By the time that our daughter went to front facing, the largest buckle position was too tight. We are already in the market to buy again and put this one in storage until baby number 3 needs it.

  30. Stephanie Larison says

The 3 across feature is my fave! I never realized what a big deal this was until I had my 3rd daughter in April. We had to get a whole new vehicle because we couldn’t fit 3 car seats in the back seat.

There are so many issues with this form! Half of the links either do not work or it tells you to complete an action & then does not give you a link, so you do not know where to go complete it. The subscribe button for your blog does not work!

How can I pick one favorite from something so perfect….this seat is perfection. I love everything about it. But if I had to choose one it would be that it grows with the child this amazes me. No more buying multiple car seats yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

  40. Samantha says

I love that it has extended rear facing. Perfect for the new rule of having it rear facing for the first 2 years now.

  41. Vikki Billings says

I love that it folds flat for travel, that is so cool! I also love the 5 point harness and that it converts to booster mode for kids 50-120 pounds.

  42. Anne Higgins says

I like the idea that this car seat is one that can be used for many years. My Mom use to tell stories how she was passed down a car seat and she passed ours onto others to use as it was built sturdy…a GMC bucket. So, it surprised her to learn that car seats are only “good” for limited time and then need to be replaced. This looks like something “I” would want to sit/sleep in if I were still a kid. Thanks for hosting this giveaway. Good luck with your site.

  43. Diana Cote says

I love that it has a 120lb weight limit. :D My 5 year old is a few pounds short of outgrowing her convertible car seat so it would be perfect for us right now and would last her until we no longer need one. Thank you for the chance. :)

  44. Rosey says

Besides the safety features, my favorite is the adustable headrest. That’s important to have as the kids grow.

  45. Susan Biddle says

My favorite feature is that it’s convertible from 5 to 45 pounds so I wouldn’t have to buy 3 different car seats per child!

Definately love that it is 3 carseats in one! We are starting over with a new baby and no supplies. Having to buy only 1 carseat would be a dream!

    • Linda Kwolek says

  48. Katrina Angele says

I love how much it can grow with my son. Up to 120lbs! That is awesome. It’s exactly what I am looking for.
