Stampin’ Up Cookie Stamp Package Review and Giveaway!!

I am a huge “Stamper” as well as scrapbooker. I love the personal effects adding a customized stamping to your envelopes does. It takes the pretty factor to another level.

So, when I heard about the new promotion for Stampin’ Up, I was intrigued. This new promotion involved combining two of my favorite activities-Stamping and baking cookies. They have came up with innovative Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.  I know I personally love to bake cookies all year around. I bake cookies for every imaginable holiday so to add this personal touch is divine.

We received these products to test out the Stampin’ Up Cookie products:

1. Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp (1), $16.95 item number 125152
2. Kraft Gift Box (4) $2.95 item number 124106
3. Homemade stamp set (1), $8.95, item number 116978
4. 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch (1), $16.95, item number 118874
5. 12″ x 12″ Smooth Card Stock Very Vanilla (1) $5.95 item number 124301
6. Basic Black Stampin’ Spot (1)  (not sold individually)
7. Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine (1), $2.95, item number 123125

The first thing I love about this package is you can give them out as gifts or as a generous token of appreciation to those you love. I made some of these this weekend for my daughters preschool teachers. They look so good packaged together and they are completely easy to do. You can create beautiful, hand- stamped cookies in a flash.

I also love that the stamp images are completely food-safe and child-friendly. I thought my 3 year old would be too small to enjoy doing this but she had a blast!! My husband loved doing it too so it was a really great family activity.  You can pair the homemade cookies with hand-stamped packaging  that you create using the Stampin’ Up products and you have a fantastic gift for any sort of occasion!

The packaging we received did come with a homemade sugar cookie recipe but we decided to go with the store bought kind as I wanted it done for the next day and I was short on time.  Next time, I will use fresh batter as we tested it with frozen cookies and it was slightly harder to do.

We were presented with different stamp templates including snowflakes (perfect for the winter) , a heart template (perfect for the loves in your life),  and the pumpkin template. We decided to go with the snowflake template.
